Jason Villalba
Jason received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University with a double major in finance and economics. He completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Texas School of Law, where he focused his studies on complex business transactions and corporate finance. Prior to law school, Jason worked with a Fortune 500 company as an economist and a financial analyst. After law school, Jason has worked as a practicing corporate attorney and remains a partner at one of the most prestigious law firms in Texas.
Jason’s experiences as an analyst, economist, and a partner in a major law firm have prepared him for his most recent role as a public servant for the Great State of Texas. Jason is currently a member of the Texas Legislature, serving the Dallas area, and has centered his service on the areas of economic development, infrastructure, and public safety.
As a public servant and legal service provider, Jason understands that having a steadfast focus on excellent customer service is critical. Equally important however, is Jason’s peculiar understanding of the Hispanic community and his ability to shape public opinion. These are assets that Jason didn’t learn in business school, but in the rough and tumble world of Texas politics. And this asset is one of the primary characteristics that separates LightSwitch from our competitors.
